Capital immatériel et innovation territoriale - Europe 2019

Dans le but de montrer le rôle joué par le capital immatériel et l’innovation dans le développement économique des territoires français, la Chaire européenne de l'immatériel de l'Université Paris-Saclay a élaboré deux indices : l'Indice d’Innovation Territoriale (IIT) et l'Indice du Capital Immatériel Territorial (ICIT). Ces indices synthétisent un ensemble de 26 variables articulées autour de 6 piliers :

  • le capital humain, qui inclut l’investissement dans la santé (les professionnels de santé) et l‘enseignement supérieur (les diplômés), 
  • le capital renouvellement, avec l’effectif des chercheurs et du personnel en Recherche & Développement (R&D), les emplois scientifiques et techniques et les dépenses en R&D,
  • le capital Institutionnel, qui mesure la qualité de la gouvernance, la confiance dans les institutions et la liberté d'expression,
  • le capital social, à la fois cognitif (confiance envers les autres) et structurel (adhésion à un syndicat ou une association en particulier), 
  • le capital numérique, avec les ménages disposant d’un accès à internet et au haut débit, 
  • le capital entrepreneurial, avec le nombre d’entreprises créées et de plus de 3 ans.

Avec le soutien de la Fédération Nationale des Banques Populaires et de la Banque Populaire Val de France, la Chaire européenne de l'immatériel a conduit cette étude sur les 295 régions européennes, ainsi que pour les territoires français, départements et régions - pour la période 2006-2020. Le jeu de données ici présent en livre une première partie, les indices ICIT et IIT pour l'année 2019 et à l'échelle européenne.
